Hi everyone. I recently bought the Pavillion DV6646US Notebook model and am trying to install Windows XP downgrading from Vista. However, I am sure I will need to go about the drivers. I can't seem to find any drivers on the HP site or anywhere else. I might just be looking the wrong places. Does anyone have been successful to downgrade from Vista to XP? Anyone able to offer a detailed drivers list? (ie. chipset, audio, video, etc..) links? I am sure this thread will help all those who are also downgrading to XP from Vista on the same model. Thanks a lot!

I would try the drivers for a similar machine that was offered with XP, like the DV6000. That should give you most of the driver though maybe not all of the drivers. I just installed XP on a Compaq F560. I used the drivers for the V6000 which mostly worked except for the video driver which I found via google.
