HP Pavilion DV6750: Is it Affected? NeED HELP huhuu.h

my dad will buy a laptop for me: HP PAVILION DV6750..
the specs are all nice (though it's AMD)..
my worry is, the WIFI / NETWORK /MOTHERBOARD Problems associated with dv6000 series!!

ive only learned this problem today and too late to stop my dad for buying this because i think he just bought it right now. (he is in Saudi, and i am in another country.)
i tried contacting him but i think he left his phone.

My question is, does this model, DV6750 is also cursed when it comes to that problem mentioned above? I desperately need reactions from owners of the same model OR anyone that can help.

I really feel frustrated right now. We should have went with toshiba but it's $100 more expensive =(

PS: if ever ill be needing a repair service, do i need to ship it back to SAUDI? Because he will not buy it directly from HP, but from a RETAIL store there.. =(
