My husband bought me an HP Pavilion DV9000 notebook for Christmas, where as I used to have a DELL desk top witha DELL Keypad. :)
    My question is:
I have tried to use the PRINT SCREEN key function on my new laptop where it shows (home/prt sc) which I am assuming means print screen...but when I go to use it, as I used it regularly on my desktop PC, it failed to capture the screen shot, nor would it paste anything into my paint program of which I use Animation Shop and Paint Shop Pro. :(
Does anyone know the secret to getting this key to function correctly so I am able to begin using it again?
    Thank you..

i also have a dv9000 and i have to hit FN+HOME/prt sc because those two commands are on the same key for me. (i have a bilingual keyboard though)
But my guess is that key also has home on it. So try that and tell us if it works.

The key itself works, but when I click on it, it redirects the page I want to take the screen shot of, back to my home page...rather than function as the PRINT SCREEN option I wish to use. I need to know how to enable the key to use this function.
