Well my girlfriend has been using her laptop with her monitor. It use to work with the monitor earlier today and now it doesn't want too. Whenever i push to keys to switch to the external monitor it shows a pic of a laptop then a arrow pointing to a laptop but usually it would show a laptop pic to a monitor. Anyone have any idea what is wrong? This usually happens when i let the laptop go idle but i even restarted it, same problem.

Try downloading the latest graphic drivers for your card.

Have you made any system changes before it stopped working?

Still the same problem, I had to take out the hdmi cable and put it back for it to work again, hopefully i don't have to do that everytime i want to use the monitor.
