    Hello
    I am having a terrible breakout due to this notebook
    when i play games or watching movies my screen goes totally black
    but still i can hear the audio and even sometimes i can hear the voice of other partner while having a video chat
    then everything stop working
    i think machine is going to sleep mode
    when i restart again, windows resumes

    its a problem for me. anyone knows what really going on here?
    because i am frustrating

    Can you give details about your DV5? CPU? GPU? Windows version(vista, win7)?

    This sounds like a heating issue.

    Can you confirm as to whether or not the laptop feels abnormally warm or if the fans are buzzing really loudly?
