Hi guys,
I've just bought this laptop and it works great on Windows XP. Originally it had Windows Vista as the main OS.
I wanted to ask you something. The newest BIOS for my laptop is version F.1F, but I saw a topic about F.3D for AMD-based notebooks from HP - can I apply it?
I see that G6030EG is a US equivalent of V6000 model and also Compaq F500, which has the same configuration. Unfortunately, I have problems with GeForce Go 6100 drivers for my laptop, I wanted to apply the ones for Compaq F500, but I had to modify the inf file and it worked - but what are the newest drivers for Go 6100? Original NVIDIA's ForceWare gave me many errors in games.
Also a question. According to the HP official site, my laptop can support up to 1 GB of RAM - 1 GB is installed originally. I ran HP Help and Support and it says:
Max. supported RAM - 2 GB
Installed RAM - 1 GB
Slot 1 RAM - 512 MB
Slot 2 RAM - 512 MB
HP site is mistaken or the program?
