Hi!
I have a HP Pavilion dv2700tv and I was wondering if it is possible to install Windows 7. HP doesn't have windows 7 drivers for it on their website, but I have seen that some users on here have installed it based on the specs in their signatures. If anybody has experience with installing windows 7 on this machine, can you please provide some information on where you found the drivers?
Thanks for your help!

The drivers that you can use with Windows Vista should generally work. link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...3&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3650953

My son let someone put Win 7 evaluation on his dv2700tv laptop and now it's expired and was having video issues. I inadvertently uninstalled the video drivers & now it's really a mess! HP site says I need to do a Vista recovery, update bios, and then I can install fresh copy of WIN7. The recovery partition was removed and I haven't found a copy available. Anyone with this laptop that might have or might create a recovery disc would become my new best friend! I would appreciate any suggestions.

You can use most of the Windows Vista drivers found on the HP website for dv2700, although my experience is if the device is working, leave it alone.
