    Hi there,

I found another thread regarding the issue of this particular HP model, Pavilion dv5237cl. The power light is blinking and the user is not able to power on. I searched everywhere, included HP website, but the answers did not help. The best solution for this issue is to remove the BIOS battery. It is located in the RAM compartment and under the wireless device. The laptop is in the standby stage; therefore, it is unable to boot-up. I hope others will find this post helpful and good luck.
