What does nr stand for on the model number?

    Here's a link.

Also, can anyone tell me how it performs on browser multitasking, gaming(Prototype, Crysis, GTA 4), video editing, and start ups.

I answered it in your other post, nr stands for No Region as compared to us for United States and ca for Canada. As far as the performance goes, it should be pretty good for games, depending on how dependent they are on the GPU, the 4650 is pretty good as far as laptops go. The weak link in the 1362nr is the CPU, which is just a basic C2D. You should still do alright. I can play fallout 3 on medium to high settings (not maxed out or anything) but it should still game decently enough.

well I do run mine on a zalman cooling pad but, I don't think that would overheat without it. It heats up when you push it but, stays within perameters. Highest I can ever remember the CPU getting after a good few hours of gaming was about 80-83. I have never seen the GPU go over 80. GPU usually runs at around 35-40 under idle and normal use.

I guess it only had issues with older graphics cards.
