    Hey guys,

I'm not sure which one to buy so just thought I'd come here for advice, below are the important specs. There is a price premium for the dv6-202ev of around $300.

    dv6-1390

    Processor: Core 2 Duo P8800 2.66ghz
    Memory: 4096 MB
    Hard drive: 500 GB 5300rpm
Screen: 15" (1366x768) High Definition HP LED Brightview Display
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4650 1 GB DDR3

    dv6-2020ev

    Processor: i7-720qm 1.60ghz
    Memory: 4096 MB
    Hard drive: 500 GB 7200rpm
Screen: 15" (1366x768) High Definition HP LED Brightview Display
    Graphics: GT230M 1GB DDR3

Just a few areas that need clearing up:

    1. If any of you own either of the machines, could you pls comment on the:
    a. Build Quality
    b. Screen Quality
    c. Sound Quality
    d. Heat and Noise

    2. Gaming potential (mainly games like: Battlefield 2142, Left4Dead 2, World in Conflicet etc.)

    3. Does the i7 offer better speed than the P8800? What about the heat build up in each, I think the P8800 is supposed to run fairly cool right?

    4. Overall recommendation.

Thanks for any and all info!

Hmmm maybe I'm being too specific with my questions. In general how is the build quality for the dv6 series? In addition which of the two would you recommend for mid range gaming (bearing in mind the i7 comes with a $300 price premium) thanks.
