The 5650 and the 6550M are the exact same card. It can play any game on at least minimum settings. The 5730 is about 15-20% faster.

The HP usually runs cool. However, some (like mine) have a defect (which can be fixed if you know how to apply thermal paste) that causes them to come close to overheating. Only a few are affected. All of them have a warm left palmrest, however. It's not an issue, but it annoys some people.

The US store can only ship within the US, unfortunately. However, HP has a global warranty, so if you can get someone in the US to deliver it to and then send it to you, you'd be fine.

The temps won't be an an issue, most likely, and the construction is very good for the price range. The screen is sub-par, though. You can adjust it via video drivers and make it look much better, but that won't fix the viewing angles (or lack thereof).

    7200RPM 640GB HDDs are expensive. :S lol

IF it was 500 and 7200 would have been better than the 640 and 5400 at same price :D

I thought the same when I bought my laptop. For my needs, I was wrong. What are you using it for?

I'm not trying to resurrect this post here but I was wondering where you can get that HP laptop in the US. I think it looks beautiful and the specs are great.
