    Hi nuclear_Jam, if you still looking for a correct driver for Beats audio so that you can use Beats equalizer, then hopefully this driver works for you. IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver - HP Pavilion dv6-6179er Entertainment Notebook PC | HP® Support

    You need to uninstall your current Beats driver , then restart your laptop before installing this driver. After that, you need to restart your laptop again. I used this driver for my hp laptop in windows 8 and it worked wonderful. Good luck.

    On my laptop which is DV6-6b66ew since I bought it this equalizer on right side never worked for me (doesnt matter Win7/Win8/Win8.1). I will try link provided here.

    Driver from HP.com http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58501-59000/sp58830.exe its not working for me. Any sliders aren't working. But driver from axdu2013 is working as should be. Strange.
