Does anyone know the manufacturer of the
750 gb 7200 rpm hard drive in this laptop?
Only asking because I use Western Digital Acronis
for backups, and you MUST have a WD drive.

    THanks

I'm not sure as it seems it all is different but you can always connect a WD drive and use that to install the software, as it seems it only seems uses that to confirm that you have a WD.

I'm fairly sure it's NOT a Western Digital

Thanks, for the advice on installing the software with an external WD drive.
