This is my old laptop, it had a motherboard replacement a while ago under the HP service enhancement thingy, they also swapped out the dvd drive (don't know why) and most of the bodywork (they'd scratched it during the first repair) What I want to know is, is the replacement system board going to last, as a friend of mine is interested in this laptop, but I don't want to sell her a ticking timebomb

Does anyone know if the system boards they were swapping were updated, or just the same as were fitted in the laptops to begin with?
