    Hello,

I've decided against getting a 24" iMac until Leopard comes pre-installed on them, so for the mean time, I've selected the HP Pavilion dv6095ea as my first computer purchase...

Unfortunately, as I've mentioned in another thread, unlike in the US, I'm unable to customise my laptop from HP as the option isn't available over here... Anyway, the series I want has two PRE-CONFIGURED models...

As you can see HP have made it difficult for me by not putting the webcam/bluetooth/bigger hardrive facilities into the 6095, but it isn't a big deal, I'd still rather have the 6095 over 6021...

But, just out of interest what's the general view on the AMD Turion 64 X2 and would the 1.8GHz model in the 6095 be suitable for gaming/web-designing e.g. Dreamweaver?

Very suitable. It'd be nice to have something better than the GeForce 7200 for serious 3D gaming but that's the only significant fault I can think of, and even then if your tastes run more along the lines of WoW than Doom3 it'll be fine.

i have 1.8ghz model and it works great on web development and image design...

dont worry about the webcam because it's just a bonus and has a fixed angle... lightscribe is a plus but you still need to spend more on 'lightscribe cds or dvds'
