Has any one had a problem with these mine is junk The sound quit working They were very good at fixing it under warranty 5 days in mail and back .Unfortunatly it was in poor running shape when returned .I had to reboot 5 times and the hard drive failed of course out of warranty. The HD is unavailable from HP and there is a waiting list from the site they referred me too .This would to seem to indicate that this is a bad part in high demand due to a high failure rate. There customer service is very nice their products suck

I have no idea why they would refer you to a site with a waiting list. Maybe they get commission for your purchase. Anyways, for the harddrive, just go to newegg.com and buy a compatible hd, they're pretty universal so there shouldnt be too many issues. But make sure you have an os install dvd, and a drivers cd or place to get the drivers for your laptop before you buy a hd third party which u have to do anyways it seems.
