    Hi,,

I just bought this laptop a few days ago ..
And I noticed if I am running battery mode the screen is very dim .. Gets brighter when I connect it to AC ..
I know this is normal and its some kind of option to save power but is there a way to brighten the screen ? I tried the fn+f8 but it didn't work? I always get a system information box when I click on them .

    Will apprecaite any advice ..
    I am a total laptop virgin ...

    Thanx ..
    Twinkle...

I think you may have to disable the option in the BIOS. I'm not sure what it is listed under, but it will be something likke LCD Power Save feature, or something along those lines. For more information, refer to the manual of the notebook. Hope this helps.
