    Urgent!
So, i got this HP Pavilion dv6599se second-hand. It was a good deal, i think.
But i have two problems, which one is really important.
That is that the microphone is dead. Some people in different forums have some hard to hear sounds, but mine is just dead. I've tried everything, installed 7, then XP, then 7 again and it is starting to get me mad. Most HP Pavilion users have the Conexant chip, but i have the Realtek HD Audio chip.
I've also tried installing different drivers from the Realtek and HP website, which none of work. I've tried separating the audio jacks( via Realtek control panel ), messing with the audio boosts ( i only hear static then ), messing with the effects ( Karaoke, Beam Forming etc ). The recovery partition has been deleted, so i have no luck in recovering.
