is the difference between the two only that the select series has touch screen?

This review is quite stupid. The laptop is portable in my opinion if you compare it to DELL XPS 15.
Get Quad Series with 1080p, 6770m and use a coupon! You will get below 1000$.
In my opinion 6770m is perfect for gaming. I play F.3.A.R. on max settings only without AA on 1920x1080 and it's running smooth.

    Laptop reviews in a nutshell:

inch thick, 5.5 pound MBP 15 - "SUPER PORTABLE, AMAZING, 5 stars!"

1.3 inch thick, 5.7 pound HP - "BLARGH, WAY TOO HEAVY!"

i dont think they offer the touch screen anymore. i just received my dv6tqe a week ago and it does not have touch screen. Only the older models do.

dv6tqe = quad edition. you have a quad edition. not a select edition.
