Got some questions on the new HP Pavilion dv6z Quad Edition series, maybe someone can answer?
How does the the MX version of the CPUs differ from the others? And exactly what does Dual Graphics entails in this notebook?
Sound a little to good be true.

Rami, there are two threads just above in the HP Pavilion forum that will tell you all we've discovered about these fun boxes so far. One is by abbadon and has benchmarks etc., the other is something along the lines of 'Dv6z shipping with LLano" or something like that. The bottom line at the moment is that they are well built, extremely well equipped, they have the potential for terrific mid-level gaming (there are some driver issues that are being worked on) and almost everyone who has purchased one likes them a lot.
At the moment the Dual Graphics feature is hit and miss. AMD needs to do a lot of work on making it easier to figure out how to set what in the options lists but the benchmarks indicate there is a lot of power sitting there just waiting to be tapped. The MX's differ in that they can handle 1600 speed memory instead of the 1333, and I believe they have the higher rated graphics chips onboard. However, all of these first round of LLanos are multiplier unlocked so with just a very few minutes with the utility K10stat (free), you can customize your processor to your hearts content. It is even possible to overclock while UNDERVOLTING....talk about a win/win
We're still sorting out the best combinations.
Like I said, go check out those threads for everything you'd ever want to know.
