Hi all, i´m planning to replace my desktop pc with a laptop. Should be able to play on it games like cod4,nfsu undercover,...

So the newest games (not games like crysis) should run smooth.
First i found the asus g50v which is totally awesome. Also alot of people who got that notebook already told me how many fps they can get in some games and it looks like my desktop isn´t rly better than that notebook. However , i could get the HP Pavilion dv7 1050eg for around 900€ which is much cheaper than the g50v (1300€). So i need to decide which one is better for me...

    First of all: The display
I wanted a 15,4 inch display but i heard that the monitor gives people in games or movies a rly "fat" look :p .. While a 17inch should look normal. I dont care about the size

    Hardware: Which one is better?
    HP Pavilion dv7 1050eg
    or
    Asus G50v

The HP Pavilion dv7 1050eg got a better CPU but the gfx card isn´t that good. So which one is more recommended for gameing? Normally game performance is alot about the CPU ? So the difference between the 9600M GT and the 9700M GT shouldn´t be that huge? And with the better CPU it might run better ?

    Help me plz ! :p

    thx
