    Hello, help me finding thread about this laptop

    I have c2d processor with 2,5ghz
    4gb ram
    vista 64
    9600Gt nvidia (ddr2)
    and 2 640gb hdd
    17inch screen with 1440x900

    i'm interested in few things, is there any common bugs on this laptop? hinge degrading, faded colors on the screen, performance issues?

    Also, i'm interested in possibility for GFX updating? any successful attempts? or lcd changing to something more prettier

    That is an old laptop from generation 1xxx. DV7 are in generation 4xxx. I think you can't do much to it.
