    Hey fellas !
I just got my hands on this new lappy ! Unfortunately,my younger bro messed up with it and now what i have got is a perfectly normal resolution and even in personlize,"small" is selected as display which is the default one ! Yet,the icons in the screen are way way large :/ And also,on the left hand side of the screen,i think he has added fences which allow me to scroll through the various giganormous icons :/ How do i go back to normal stuff? I mean i want to get rid of the fences or whatever causes that scroll bar to the left and i want to restore the icons to their proper size !
Any good advise and help would be greatly appreciated ! Help needed ASAP

Uninstall fences if you don't want it. Alternatively you can right click on the fence, click configure fences and in the menu of Fences right click on the fence and choose to delete it.

To change the size of the icons, I suggest you take an external mouse and plug it into your computer. Then navigate to your desktop, click anywhere (but not on an icon/ folder), hold ctrl button and use the scroll button on the mouse to adjust the size. You need to hold the button ctrl while scrolling.

    This should help.

Someone just recommended me to go to view and then change icon size and thankfuly that worked !
And well,a3..can you help me out with the part about fences please?
Am not even sure whether its because of the fences..but now,i have got some classifications such as Help and Support,Internet and all..on the left size and under each heading some icons ! Is that because of the fences? And thank you :)

Just read the info about fences and yeah, now am sure that it is because of the fences ! But nowhere do they say how to turn it off :/ Is there any way to turn it off without uninstalling it as i may need it for later?

I have the following option to remove the fence, after right-clicking on it.

"Open up the fences window, enter the "tools" tab, click on the tiny blue "more tools..." link on the bottom of the window. You'll find a checkbox labeled "Enable Fences" there, just uncheck it."

Got that info from a google search so I am not sure if it is correct or not but worth a try.

I think there is no way to restore it back. You can create a new one though.
