    Hi to all

Recently I got a wireless router HUAWEI EchoLife HG520s Home Gateway installed by my Internet provider. My HP dv8320us laptop has an IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection, but I can't get connected to my wireless network  . The blue light of the wireless connection is on (blue), but I can't view other wireless networks to connect  .

    Any suggestion?

I'm using Vista Home Premium 32bit

    Thanks in advance...

Aren't you being able to see any networks in the list when you select "Connect to" from the icon on the system tray?
    you can do something.
Click START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES. Right click on " COMMAND PROMPT" and select " Run as Administrator". Once u r in command prompt, type in IPCONFIG and press enter to check the IPv4 address and the subnet mask. If everything is OK, then ping the DEFAULT GATEWAY IP by this command---> ping (your default gateway ip)
    e.g. ping 192.168.0.1

If your IPv4 address shows 169.x.x.x, then it has no connectivity and has got a bad ip from APIPA. then do the following-->

    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns

restart your laptop and your problem should be solved.

PM me after doing this test. I will send u further instructions.
