Hi all, im a new user on this forum.
I just recently bought a new notebook from Costco Canada.

The sales rep told me that this notebook was custom made for Costco only. I've tried looking on the web for specs/reviews on this notebook. But the closest i can find is slightly different, but uses the same model#. Even HP homepage dosn't have specs on this laptopI recently installed DHzer0point_0.8466 driver for nVidia GeForce Go 7600(hoping for performance boost), i noticed in the nVidia Overclock panel, my stock clock is 450 Core Speed and 380 Memory. I made some research in this, and i found that other Laptop/Notebooks (Compal H80) runs Go7600 @ 350/350. I tried to underclock or overclock it, but seems like its locked on 450/380. Is it possible that its normal or is it the drivers im using?
Im just worried about the heat in my laptop if these settings are too high!![]()

Acording to Laptop Logic http://www.laptoplogic.com/news/detail.php?id=541
Geforce Go 7600 has:
450Mhz Core Clock Speed
500MHz Memory Clock Speed (Mine @380)
I just benchmarked using 3DMark05, and got 3341 3DMarks. Not bad if this is truly stock clock. -
Don't worry, no store would sell you anything clocked too high or unstable - the return/support issues would drive them crazy. Those clocks look fine, the Compal HEL-80 is actually criticized a bit for being TOO underclocked.

And also, i tried to overclock/underclock the Core/Mem. But seems like its stuck on 450/380. Is there a way to unlock this? i've tried several drivers, and no avail
