Could anyone Help me in this problem!!!

I have HP dv9005tx which i bought it around 1.5 year ago, just like yesterday, my LCD back light suddenly gone wierd:
Firstly, when i set the backlight to Max, it will automatic turn off after 30s, then i close the lid of the notebook, and open it again, the backlight keep flashing...........
Second, when i set the backlight to Min, the LCD backlight will not turn off, but is like working in complete drakness..........
Third, when i unplug the AC power, the LCD turn to full brightness, which should be set to minimun........

I have contact HP support, but still no reply yet......

I was thinking, it is the monitor cable which run behind the LCD has broken, or the mother board is borken on the LCD part, or just the backlight LED broken.......but somehow i don't spot any LCD backlight abnormal or leak when i test it

    My notebook config:
    *Intel Duo 2G
    *2G Ram
    *Nvidia Go 7600 512M (Using Xtreme-G Driver 175.2)
    *Monitor 1440x900
*Window Media Center Service Pack 3

Call - always better results... they will fix the problem, which may be a replacement. But call and find out.

Try this, remove power cable and battery, then hold down start button for about 30 seconds.

Put battery back conect power cable and start up
