HP Pavilion dv9500t just left china!

Our shipping method was the FREE one which says 5-7 business days. I doubt FedEx will deliver on a weekend !

I dont understand what Time Zone they are using.. 11:53am of 28th June can never come after 2:31pm of 28th June. I wish they deliver by Friday June 29th..

 

FedEx is reporting local time wherever the package is. Shanghai China is on the otherside of the international dateline so it's actually tomorrow there. That is why the times look funny.

 

Made it to Indy this morning. It's definitely not coming to Nashville till Monday . Oh well all of next week to play with it.

 

it's friday morning...looks like my laptop is down the street, hopefully it gets put on a truck!

You all seem to be getting your orders very quick. I ordered my DV9500t on June 6th with a delivery date of the 20th. Now they are telling me July 2nd. What did you all order?

Reached Home !! dv9500t reached the destination. Seems I will have a great weekend at home

SDJim : I personally feel your HD-DVD ROM is taking time. Have you received your tracking ID yet ? Or is your laptop still in production ?

 

Well, mine is now in transit from SHANGHAI. My estimated delivery has also been updated with the July 3rd estimation. mainak_sarcar, is your original estimated delivery, from HP's site the same as the fedex updated one? And also, with everyone's laptops coming in a day early or so, would it be safe to assume that mine might arrive on the 2nd?

 

Congrats nevian, mine still has another 125 miles to go before 10:30. I'm starting to worry.

 

I ordered the HD-DVD and it didn't slow the shipment of my lappy. So while that could be the issue now, it wasn't for me.

 

ok, it's finally here! i'm at work and i have the laptop on and setting up... for all of those people in california who ordered an HP ...here is the timeline you can expect if things go smooth

Seems like mine skipped a couple steps... Could this possibly arrive today?

 

no weekend deliveries that I know of. You should get it monday.

 

HP's website never gave the delivery date. It always stated the date when it would ship. In other words its the date then its built completely and ready to leave factory. FedEx gave me an estimated date of July 2nd but I got it on 29th June only because I was close to Indianapolis [60 miles away]. It seems FedEx is routing all packages from Indianapolis to other destinations. Worry not mate, you will definitely get it by this coming week. The package must have travelled to your local FedEx station by this weekend.

 

Just have some patience and wait for the laptop to arrive! I understand many of you are excited to receive your new laptops, but posting all your FedEx tracking will not speed up the process..lol

 

China to Tempe AZ in one day with the free shipping option. Left Shanghai yesterday in the morning, stopped in Anckorage, Indianapolis, Phoenix and then the Tempe Arizona FedEx facility this morning. Wouldn't suggest upgrading the shipping if you can get this kind of great delivery time for free. Don't waste your money.

 

My laptop left Shanghai, China Thursday at 2:34pm, and I just received it today at 10:30am.

At first the FedEx tracking website told me that it wouldn't be here till Monday the 19th.
