Hi guys, my HP Pavilion dv9700 Entertainment Notebook running on Windows Vista 32-Bit, and apparently, it has problems with the webcam. Currently, it doesn't work, it says it isn't connected.

So I headed over to "Add Hardware" in the Control Panel, and I looked under "Imaging Devices" and chose to install "HP Pavilion Webcam".

Next I headed over to the Device Manager, and I looked under "Imaging Devices" and I see HP Webcam, but it has a yellow triangle with a ( ! ), so I double-click it, and see that the Manufacturer is "Ricoh", and the Location is "Unknown", and under that, it says that it has the error code:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled MANY times but still no luck.

I have gone through MANY days on trying to fix this webcam problem, and am hoping for someone to help me.

    Thanks,
    Philip
