    Hey guys I'm new here!

I recently bought the tx 1000. Its pretty cool you can say this is my first laptop so I have no idea what to expect after purchasing it.

The features are pretty neat so far, I really like the finger reader and touch screen.

One thing I wanna know is what everyone basically ask, is my laptop good for gaming?

Ex: First person shooting games, strategy games, RPG games (Guild Wars, WoW)

    Little bit of my laptop.

2GHz processor, 2 GB RAM and 160 GB hard drive.

AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile TL-60 processor with integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 graphics that has up to 128MB shared memory.

So yeah if you guys have any questions let me know!

I'm sorry to drop the bad news, but though it's a very nice machine you've got there the Nvidia 6150 isn't that good of a graphic chip for gaming. It hasn't got any graphic memory but just borrows it from the system ram. Some older not to graphic intense games would work, in lower settings though.

"Integrated" is the first word you wouldn't want when looking at graphic cards. Integrated GPUs aren't meant for gaming.

CS:S should run okay, if you appropriately tweak the settings. While your laptop may not be able to play Oblivion or other fairly new games, it should be able to run some older ones on medium.

Ok guys thanks for answering in my thread. But I got a new question.

I notice that now my laptop chargers very slow...and I leave the ac plug for the entire day and it doesn't even it 100%...Only 95%...Why is that? Did I change some settings?

I would do a Battery Check from the HP total care advisor (battery, and then run battery check or something like that). I would also check to see if there are any BIOS updates available.
