There should be an option to enable tapping under Mouse properties in Control Panel. Which brand of touchpad does the zd7000 have. Is it Synaptics or Alps?? Look it up in device manager.

In that case, download the latest drivers from Synaptics website...
    http://www.synaptics.com/support/drive.cfm

After installing them. Go to Control Panel(classic view)-->Mouse-->Device Settings Tab-->Click on Settings-->Tapping and then check the 'Enable Tapping' checkbox.

    That should enable the feature.
