    Hi,

I just bought a use HP Pavilion zt1260 laptop from a friend. It has 2 years old (not the friend but the laptop!). I use it 3 days without any problem, but today, when I plug it, all ligths open ans stay open, but the laptop doesn't start when I push the start button. When I try to start it only with the battery power, every lights open when I push the start button, they close when I release the start button, but the laptop doesn't start anyway. Is someone can give me his feeling on the nature of that problem?

    Thanks!

Maybe your PSU wasn't charging the battery (check connector) or it permanently can't give the power output specified? If PSU is good, than it sounds like a MB problem.
