Maybe someone knows where I can buy a HP Pavilion zt3000 as brand new?
I know that these notebooks are approx. 4 years old...

    Thank you.

Try auction sites like eBay or some really obscure retailer.
Why do you specifically want this model anyway? They are ancient.

I still have one on my own and I would like to buy one again.
Since I have this laptop I have tried to switch on different ones but never found the right replacement.
*The zt3000 runs no fan, only under stress.
*It is very thin (but quite heavy) and most I prefer the keyboard.
    *The screen is very nice.
*I like black notebooks (but I don't like Thinkbads)

I tried a Macbook pro, Macbook black, Macbook white, HP 6710b (so thick and big).

So now my last try will be to get a zt3000 new or a HP nc8440.

    Thank you.

I know what you mean. I love my Presario X1000 (same as the ZT3000) to bits before it got too old and screen died. It was the perfect notebook until HP killed it with the new Pavillion dv series and Presarios.

Get an HP 8510p (replacement for nc8430). Dark gray/black, thin, nice high resolution screen, reasonably quiet and lighter than the ZT3000. This is the fitting replacement for the ZT line of notebooks as the ZT is the last line of robust Pavillion models before they became consumer-focused.

You are saying it: The built quality is so much better than of most notebooks today.

I had the HP 6710b and it was quite big. As far as I understand the dimension of 6710b and 8510p are the same!?

Maybe I will give it (again) a try.

    Thank you!

The 8510p is slightly thinner and lighter.
