    Hi!

I have been looking at these two laptops: HP Pavilion zt3131EA vs HP Compaq nx7010; and there is something I do not well understand.
Both have the same price but the HP Compaq nx7010 has better and more features than the HP Pavilion zt3131EA. What is then the difference?
The reason may be that nx7010 comes from Compaq and zt3131EA from HP. But...do you think it really exists any difference in quality between these two computers? Or the difference resides in the support?
In principle the n-serie is thought for companies and Pavilion for private use. So, is HP going to give worse quality and support to companies than to private users????

Well, I have seen there are multiple configurations for these two models. I am specifically talking about:

    HP Pavilion zt3131EA:
    - Pentium M 1.6 GHz - 14.1" TFT
    - 256 kB - L2 Cache
    - RAM 256 MB

    HP Compaq Business Notebook nx7010:
    - Pentium M 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT
    - 1 MB - L2 Cache
    - RAM 512 MB

And the nx7010 is only a few dollars more expensive!

In general the HP is more consumer oriented with Compaq being more business focussed in their feature set. In this case the Compaq is much better head to head.
