    Hello everyone,
I bought HP Pavilion zv6000 about 2 years ago from BestBuy and i'm having problems with the display panel latches. About one month ago, my laptop's right side latch popped open and just an hour ago, the other latch popped open too. Making my display panel totally free. It falls down either way if i don't put support against it.) I have put support behind the panel for the time being. :(
Does anybody know, how long it will take if i send it back to HP for repair or possible replacement of the display panel? I talked with bestbuy Geek squad, and they didn't give any concrete answer. My school starts next week and its hard to continue without a pc at home.
Is it advisable to continue without repair and just use my laptop with some support for the panel?? I have a 3 year BestBuy warranty.
Please let me know ASAP, so that i can make any decision. Thanks in advance.

Well if it is a 3yr warrenty, then just have them replace the computer. It should be covered. Go there tommorrow. Explain your position, and I am positive that you should be able to get a replacement of equal value.
