    Hello,

I bought HP Pavilion laptop model: WQ798UA#AB in Best Buy Shop. I do not have any warranty from Best Buy, but laptop has 1 year MFG warranty.

After nearly 2 weeks some strange vertical lines appeared on the screen of computer. Best Buy assumed that here is no sign of damage and it should be repaired under mfg warranty.

Can anybody answer: should Best Buy send laptop to HP or their service center?

because, they promised us to send it to HP and they sent it to theirs.

And another problem also appeared: There is no screens of this model laptops to buy.

Please, if anyone can help me to figure out about HP's mfg warranty on computers sold in Best Buy.

    Thanks

IF your laptop was brand new when purchased, then it should come with at least a one year warranty from HP.

The symptoms that you're describing should be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Call HP at 1-800-HP-INVENT and they should be able to assist you. Have your laptop serial number, product number and date of purchase available.
