Help me if you can! I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and the cursor frequently moves while I am typing. I keep thinking there's some function key I hit but that doesn't really make much sense? Has anyone ever has this issue before, is it HP specific and how do I fix it? Thanks for your feedback!

Are you using a mouse or touchpad?

Make sure you arent hitting the touchpad or pressing Ctrl. Sometimes that does it. If you are using mouse, the mouse could be breaking, its happened many times to me until i got a nice quality mouse.

LOL, it definitely sounds like your palm is touching the touchpad.
