    Hi there
I have been using an HP Pavillion DV1000 for about 6 months now.
Recently the fan has been running almost nonstop and is so loud that its unbearable.
The heat has increased also recently.
I have not dismantled the laptop or have done anything to it. It has not had any accidents or anything. I take good care of it. But I dont know why this suddenly happened.
The fan noise is so annoying especially if I am alone in a room, with no tv or music.
Is there any solution for this?

    Thanks

    update,
    I just downloaded mobmeter
my cpu speed is 1.86 centrino
and my temp is 69 degrees celcius!!!!!!!
    help

Make sure the vents are clear. You may may want to check what is running in the background. Also you can set to run in low power mode if you do not need all the juice.
