I'm wondering if I could put some G.Skill 2x2Gb Dual Channel RAM @ PC2-6400 (800mhz) in my laptop.

    CPU-z reports a 800mhz FSB...I'm running the T9300 cpu.

    I currently have the G.Skill 2x2GB PC2-5300 installed.

I'm worried about the Cas Latency on the 800 mhz RAM will it matter?

    Going from 4 to 5.

Also will I notice an improvement?

The Santa Rosa chipset limits RAM to 667 MHz. The FSB of the processor has nothing to do with it.
