I have recently purchased an HP Pavillion G6. I know it is not the best performing laptop, but it gets me by, for now. That is the reason I have started this thread. What would my options be as to upgrading the processor? I have the Intel Core i3-2350M processor now which clocks at 2.3 GHz. I was thinking of upgrading to maybe an Intel i5 processor some time in the future, but I am unsure if it is possible.

I am also open to any other processors as well if they are compatible.

Thanks for all help in advance.

You can upgrade the cpu to a i5 or maybe to a two core i7. You can also upgrade the memory and swap the hard drive for an SSD.
