Hey guys,
I recently had my computer (HP Pavillion dv6000) repaired (I couldn't tell you exactly for what), and it was sent into HP to be repaired. I've got it back, and the problem that I previously had no longer exists.
Now however, the computer is not recognizing the battery. It works fine plugged into the wall and the battery is taken out, but when the battery is in the computer, the computer changes to battery power (instead of using external power and charging the battery) and soon dies, as my battery has little power left.
I borrowed a friend's battery (who has the same laptop) and for about 10 minutes the computer worked properly with the battery charging when plugged in. After those few minutes though, the computer resorted to battery power and won't charge. I think that rules out that it's just a faulty battery, but I could be wrong as I'm no expert (that's why I'm here).
Thanks for any help in advance!

bump! anyone?

Just another piece of information, if it helps. When the battery's in the computer (and therefore outlet power isn't working), the light around the cord as it goes into the computer is pulsing instead of being a solid blue (like when it's plugged in with no battery).
Thanks again, and even if noone can help me here, does anyone know a place that could?
