    HP Pavillion ze4800 ze4800us modem

    I had to replace the hard drive in my laptop and I don't have the restore disk anymore. It has XP on it now and I was able to download all the drivers from HP, except for the modem driver. I've tried several different drivers already and can't find one that works.

    Does anyone have a copy of the driver for this model, or at least tell me which modem it is so I can locate one?

    Did you try Windows Update? If you saved the SWTools folder, the driver should be in there.

    I didn't figure I would get any help from HP, but decided to e-mail their after sales support anyway. This was on the day before Thanksgiving. I had a response back from them before the day was out with a link to the correct driver.
