I installed the HP Power Manager to my HP G32 (from clean WIN7 OS install) then I decided to use the HP Power Manager. When I clicked on the Power Saver option (initially on Balanced), it gives me some warning messages (didn't read it) and I just click YES. When I check the battery icon on the laptop, it only gives me Power Saver and High Performance plan. I then decided to click the High Perf on the HP Power Manager and it then deletes the the High Perf. Now, I only have the Power Saver option on the battery. Checked all the settings I can think of and it the last resort was for a system restore and it was back again. I'm just wondering why HP Power Manager would delete the power plans?

Because it's dumb like most of their other software. Any good tech knows that on a brand name system you must install as little of the manufacturer software as possible.

The only piece of HP software i have ever found useful is the Wireless Assistant, for the sole reason that it allows turning on/off the Bluetooth and WLAN modules separate from each other.
