Hello,
it's been a while since my last post here but used this forum as a ressource many times, since the dedicted users here have solutions and tips no support out there can give you.
I'm planning to buy a new 15 inch Notebook. I like the Dell XPS 15 a lot but its not in the budget right now.
So i took a look to hp and found this nice model:
HP Probook 650 G2.
Doesn't seems to be listed in US Store but in German store.
I was also looking for a review but couldn't find anything.
It should come with a m.2 slot and a 2,5 inch hdd slot.
Configuration available with 4g/LTE card.
USB 3.1 C Port.
8GB DDR4 (easy to upgrade since only 1 slot is used)
15 Inch Full HD IPS Touchscreen.
For me it seems like a very nice 15 inch device and would love to know what you think about it.
Regards
Florian
EDIT:
Specs posted here early were wrong, HP decided to correct them. So i deleted them here, no to confuse anyone.

Hey Guys,
i have some more Information about this model.
There is NO Touchscreen. HP was not able to make correct information on their website. Even resellers had this wrong informations on the websites.
Well they found out and corrected this without informing customers. Well done.
The Upgrade to 16GB DDR4 was easy, just had to put in a second 8 GB SO-Dimm Module.
It is also possible to Upgrade a 3G/4G Modem because the 650 G2 is ready fot that. Antenna cables are inside and just waiting to get connected.
My thoughts about dual use sata ssd and m.2 ssd didn't work out so nicly. Simply because HP managed to build both slots aboce each other. So you have the choice to use a m.2 ssd or sata ssd but not both parallel. I bought a 500GB SSD and replaced the original "slow" m.2 128GB SSD.
The biggest plus of this model are it really has a lot of
interfaces.
2 x USB 3.0
1 x USB Type-C
1 x Displayport
1 x VGA
1 x Seriell Port
1 x Card Reader SHXC..
1 x Smart Card Reader
The display is as i mentioned already "NO Touchscreen" which is the biggest disappointmen
t.
The fan is quite normal but for my feeling, its less loud than a surface pro 3 fan under load for example.
Rarly noticable under idle but you can hear it in a low noise enviroment.
If you have any questions regarding this device feel free to ask.
Regards
Flo
