I have an HP 8510p laptop with Vista Business. I have been playing with the credential manager recently and I discovered very strange thing about the applications and credentials manager.

Could anyone check the following and post results:
    - open HP ProtectTools Security Manager (I have 3.00 AA version)
    - go to the Credential Manager/Services and Applications
    - click manage applications and credentials
    - a new window will pop up where you can add or remove applications with registered credentials.
    - hoover your mouse over the Password field
    - can you see a hint window (or field, since it's not a new window) with your password?

When I hoover my mouse over the Password field, a hint window pops up and reveals the password.

I appreciate any feedback. Right now I shouldn't let anyone to get in a proximity of my laptop if I want to keep my passwords secret. That's not definitely how it is supposed to be.

    Thanks,
