Hi,
Though I have an HP 8510P i think this is more a general software glitch than a model-specific thingy.
When I use the FN+ ie. F10 for brightness adjustments or use the capacitive buttons above the keyboard to change system volume all running applications hangs for about 10-20 seconds and after that the OSD turns up on the screen with status on brightness, volume etc. When the OSD finally is present on the screen I can change brightness, volume etc. without any delay.
This is very frustrating, and I've tried several versions of QLB, installing latest chipset drivers and upgrading BIOS. None of these thinks solved the problem.
My laptop runs Windows 7 Professional x64.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, or do any have ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

HP Quick Launch slow is an application that allows the use of multimedia buttons on they keyboard. Most computer keyboards and most recently laptops come with multimedia buttons and what are called quick launch buttons. HP Quick Launch Buttons is Hewlett Packard's software solution to enable and control the functions of the buttons included in their laptops and desktops
