    Hi all

I have a new dv6000t w/ GeForce 7400. I am struggling to find out if the QuickDock from HP would allow me to hook up to my HDTV via component and get HD resolution on my TV?

QuickDock DOES have component outputs, so I assume this would work? Anything else I need to make this happen?

I basically want to be to watch DVD's upscaled through my Laptop on my HDTV (And watch HDTV resolution avi's, etc on my HDTV)

    Any special software I need?

    Thanks

Actually, you don't need the QuickDock. You just need a $10 cable.

See the thread at http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=118644 for directions and a link to the cable.

If you already have the Quickdock, though, I would imagine it works at HD resolutions, since the cable allows this.
