The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HP QuickWeb is missing email, music, etc. Entire interface is different

    So I got an HP Pavilion G6-160-CA laptop and was really excited to try out HP QuickWeb. I hit F5, starts up, and it looks nothing like this (image taken from google):

    Instead, it looks like the Windows interface. There are two applications in the taskbar: Skype & Browser. No e-mail client either. What's wrong here?

    How do I do this exactly? HP Advisor says nothing about updating Quickweb. Also, whenever I Skype video gets all distorted after about 2 minutes and its only fixed if the other person resets their camera.
