Well reading the review someone put up it is not a very good dock. you have to use your own adapter connected to your laptop so you still have to connect things to your laptop in addition to the docking port and the dock wouldnt let the guy's dv4000 use its video out through it so you should see if thats something you wont be able to do too.

Ya I saw that. I was wondering if others had the same findings to confirm his review.

    Thanks

maybe HP have a manual you can read through, that could give you an indication of that?

The person who wrote that review was an idiot, I find it funny that they said they tech level was "high". The dock you linked to was not really designed for the computer the guy in the review was using it with. With your computer you will be able to use the video output on the dock. Also, you will not need to use an adapter with you dv6000, the dock plugs straight into the side of your computer. The adapter is only for the older notebook series'. I like the fact that everything can be plugged into the dock, including the AC adapter, so the only thing you need plugged into your computer is the dock, nothing else is needed, everything can plug into the dock. The only bad thing is the price, it is a little expensive, but I just love the convenience of having my laptop almost totally free from wires.
