I've seen mixed opinions, so basically i need to know if the HP Recovery Disks i've created will install fresh on a new SSD (Intel 320 Series, HP OEM version - i believe, if that helps)

If not, what is the best way to clone and install from my old HDD with hp recovery partition etc to the new SSD?

    any help would be appreciated.

    They should install.
Although you could try cloning it with DriveImage XML (free)

If you clone make sure the partitions are aligned .... for best ssd performance... a fresh install will do it automatically ... Paragon has a tool to check and align
