    HP reliability?

    I have a zt1195, that was repaired once while still under one year warranty. The motherboard had to be changed, as there was a connection problem at the ac input. Now, another year later, the connection totally died. The battery(the second one, the first was replaced) has also lost its ability to keep much charge.A repair shop said this was a problem with that model, and he would get a new computer. The support people(in India) are not helpful, nor was HP prepared to admit to any defect when I emailed them. Is poor quality a hallmark of HP and Compaq?[?]

    I don't think so...it just seems that some notebooks are just bad. I'd put HP in the top 5 of my realiability list.
